what's with the fake builds lately?

I am seeing more and more people just build a 'traption that does nothing. Is this what is "trending" now? Why even open the level and save your design if it does not win. Some, I have to admit, are funny because it actually looks like it will do somethign to try and win, a lot of effort went into the design, just to not have it do anything at all hah, but seriously, quite lame if you ask me.

oh i have one up not trying to make a trend more like this is the reason why your level can't be solved. the guy posted a level with a jcurve. It either goes straight up or it gets to the platform where the goal is with backspin. It will never reach the goal. I spent sufficient time on it that i thought it warranted posting it. I was also thinking someone could add to my effort and maybe solve it.
