Can't make it work, but the first step is so humanlike!

These don't really walk as much as flip over themselves, so I'll post some improvements soon.

I've been trying to figure this out for a while. So far, I have 2 contraptions which are pretty close to nailing it right.

This first one I think is too complex, but it does hop forward and is bipedal.

This second one is the same contraption, only I removed some things and reattatched some things. This one succesfully walks... only it is going in the wronog direction.....

EDIT:

I also JUST found this right after I posted: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=875320

A whole scheiss-load!!!

An evolution of ideas as I approached this challenge. A couple are somewhat hybrids, with walker/hopper pushing but unpowered wheels for stabilization. The last two are true jumpers, which I haven't seen too many of.

My Dynamic Monster

It moves, clears all the obstacles, pokes at things, rests, loses it temper, and wins

This is my very cute walking machine: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1007930
However... what the heck ist that wall doing there? It's in the way, really :xd:
Well, the machine's not perfect yet. It's too large and too unstable. But it can walk :)
