ok so im getting the message telling me to refresh and all that, and no amount of hard-refreshing, or browser-history-temp-internet-file-clearing is seeming to have any effect. im at a work computer, which i cant use firefox on, im pretty much stuck with IE7 any ideas?

Alright, I'm pulling the plug on this forced cache clearing experiment.
Clearly microsoft's incompetence has dashed it to pieces.

The checking is gone. The old versions will work again.

Mabey next time I'll find a way to do this that doesn't piss of our overlords at M$.

Clearly you need to file a labor and industries claim if your employer forces you to use IE. That's a hostile work environment.

Huh. I'm running on IE6, and while a hard refresh does nothing, all I have to do is close the browser and open a new one and it's updated. *shrug*

Yeah I think IE6 marks the cache for deletion but doesn't actually do it till after a browser reset (or perhaps even computer reset in some instances). Try clearing the cache, immediately closing the window, reboot, and try again.

Is there any chance that the version number for the app could be displayed somewhere obvious ( I can't see one!)so that we can check that we have updated and are running the latest version

Thanks
