Gatekeeper only takes 3 sticks...what are you using the extra sticks on?

thank you minisimp , just dropped x sticks off my gatekeeper after a sudden idea hit me....

but, lost x pts. on my ticks.

btw, i side with the people who belive in negative scores now, i see the light, but wont be getting it any time soon.

if you know anything about algebra... it should be 'dropped x sticks' and 'lost y points', enless you lost the same amount of sticks as pts.-in-ticks (x=y) then they both can't be x

That's exactly what he meant - he was saying that after his brilliant idea his contraption was worth the same score. (although worse in tiebreaks)

oh my gosh
another sterling example of vdn saying something dumb... He's is saying that he lost the same amount that he gained from ticks. So no, it has nothing to do with algebra, and he said it right. Besides don't go around talking like everybody else is an idiot.

I am quite certain that there are a few people with negative scores. And there is still over a week to tweak.

So that would be -6/-8.

Plus someone claims 9 for Canyon (4 less than me).

And my "Be A Champ" still sucks at +2!

So winners must be -12 or less. (Or at least all our combined best designs will be

I think I'll submit and give up any chance of winning now...

Yes Still tweaking (god knows why I bother though)
currently only working version is -3 (so no use as rods give me -4) , but concept proven for -9. (ie 3 less balls)
ie. it lands a little left or right and don't go in. So there must be some tweek that
leaves it in the middle. Well that's my theory any way.
I'm sure someone out there has already worked it out and maybe even the -11 version?
Go on fess up... Who's sitting on -11 or less for Gatekeeper?

I look forward to the end of the competition. Should be some interesting designs.

I not going to be entering that design. Its not even close to a winning design as it was quick and dirty but worked. Was just an example, if it gives someone an idea, that's great, more power to them.

The contest calculator knows all... 216 ticks... 6 points for ticks.
Actually, I think I assumed that and were jokes and I'd never
be able to seriously get the badge, so forgot about them...
That was MANY hours of FC ago, when I thought getting down to total of 20 would be brilliant.
