Well the server not dying would be good.
We're basically just trying to keep up with the database requests. Every time you browse, save, or load designs there's a trip to the database. And there are alot of trips to the database going on right now.
I was hoping this would get rid of the lagging as well but it seems like it's still with us. Perhapse another round of upgrades is in order. The game itself could be handling the stress more gracefully (i.e. loading messages and no 'infinite bubbles'). Mabey tomorrow I'll get the chance to implement some of that.
