Looks like a very strong field of 12. That makes for 4 byes and 4 wildcard games:
bsking v bisam
HarleyDan v Irceus
Cruiser v MtDewd
JHawk v cooljenny

I'll have the official bracket and wildcard rounds up tomorrow night. Probably the icebowl levels from the original in honor of all the recent weather.

But time for the Superbowl now.

kickoff

scrimmages listed for those w/ byes

we may pick up the pace in future rounds, but since we have a few new players the deadline will be Sunday

Couple of notes:
the ice will be slightly shifted when you play.
the copied designs don't always work exactly like the original (unfortunately nothing I can do about that), so don't rely too much on finely-tuned designs. Think of yourself as the coach calling the play: it may not be executed perfectly (though I try to fix it as best I can)

ask any questions you have in the thread or thru PM.

new players will definitely benefit looking at the games from the original MNF to get a good idea how to play:

triple post:

got the first submission

yes, these are the same levels from week 5 in MNF 1.
Unfortunately, I do not have PMs going that far back, so I can't dig up your old submissions. However, if you still have yours and want to resubmit them, go for it. And I should be able to mirror-image the loose ball if you are going the opposite way this time (just send it to me and I'll send it back to you to double check/approve before you officially submit it)

it'll be all new levels from there on out.

just got a question in PM.

For your offense design the goal ball should be attached to your contraption. You can't score by throwing it. Sorry that was not clear. Updating OP.

I keep freezing the game trying to go back and look through 808 pages of designs... And I clear them out fairly often...

...I play this game too much :(

You do know that you can browse your designs using the Manage my designs page, right ?
It's quite convenient...

Is it possible to send 1 design including both attack and and defense for Rollerball (and then the other Offense vs Defense levels) or do we have to save it again after having deleted the useless part ?

I see that I face JHawk again - just like I did on the identical levels when the first version of this ended. As I recall, the levels were rather slithery.

so far I have submissions from Bisam, mtdewd, JHawk and jdel.

The commissioner suspects the 8 other charter flights were knocked from the sky by the ice storms, and has issued a statement:

Roast the dead and fill your bellies, strap fuselage to your feet for snowshoes, and get your a**es to the stadium by 3 o'clock Sunday. This is football, not badminton!

If JHawk submitted, I'm not likely to get a forfeit. Should get started.

edit: Submitted. Last time we played, every time I tried to get cute I got clobbered - really clobbered. That strategy served me so well that I'm going with it again.

Thanks for hosting.

ha

you and Harley Dan actually built below the build zones on the loose ball (just got the submissions now), so I'm just going to put you two against each other (don't worry about changing your designs) and pair JHawk up with Irceus (if he submits).

Just missing him, a loose ball design from Cruiser, and sparkleflower (who is just scrimmaging this week anyway)

Sorry. I was in such a hurry. I even used the same design for all three scenarios.
