"Most Badges" Badge - free levels

Postby mdrews on Wed May 15, 2013 4:58 pm

I'd like to see how many badges can be achieved by a single contraption on each of the free levels. And if it seems interesting, maybe we can expand it and have some kind of little competition using player-made levels or the rest of the standard levels. I'm not sure whether or not to count brown and carpenter as separate badges. I'm also considering using least pieces and least ticks as "badges". Any input on that kind of thing is welcome. So. Try to get as many of the following with a single contraption as you can:

Green :green:
Brown :brown:
Carpenter :woodrod:
Water :water:
Rodless :rodless:
Champ :champ:
Hands-off :handsoff:
Clean :clean:
Sweep :sweep: (will not be counted if there are no dynamic objects to begin with)
Boomerang :boomerang:
Unconnected :unconnected:
Pilot
Least Pieces?
Fastest?

I'll keep this thread updated with the most badges for each level.

Yeah, I'm not sure whether green/brown/carpenter and green/brown/water should stack. I'd like to see what everyone thinks about it. While a water solve technically is also brown and green, it just seems silly in certain situations to award them all 3 badges. I also know that there are water/carpenter solves for most of the levels, and if people can get all three of those badges at once, it will dissuade them from trying to get some of the more obscure badges.

I guess another option would be to assign a point value to each badge, so they are not all worth the same, and make some of the more obscure badges worth more? I'm open to ideas.

And nice solves, btw. Both are at least 5 badges, if not 7.

:handsoff: : :woodrod: : :clean: pilot (4) or if :brown: and :green: included (6)

7 badges, for less pieces... :3

Also: Green/brown/(water/carp) need to stack for this reason: Why get water when getting green nets you the same # of badges?

I can't figure out why the goal piece stops moving. It appears to be rolling on a flat surface there at the very end?

Vibrational dampening by the wood rod. Tis a clever design
