Electronic's "Master of FC" Comp

Postby electronic12345 on Sat Mar 22, 2014 8:56 am

Hello! This is my first competition on FC1. The goal of this is to beat all three levels with the most simplicity, speed, and badges. It is going to be like this:

Level 1:

Simplicity:
Joe: 1 piece http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx
Bill: 3 pieces http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx
Frank: 7 pieces http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx

Speed:

Joe: 75 ticks http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx
Frank: 99 ticks http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx
Bill: 104 ticks http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx

Badge Count:

Bill: 6 badges http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx
Joe: 4 badges http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx
Frank: 3 badges http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx

and it'll be like that for the next 2 levels.

Whoever is first place on most things is the winner. Joe would be the winner of round one.

Their will be three rounds. The people who win round 1, 2, and 3 will be sent to round 4. Whoever does best in round 4 wins the whole competition. You can submit for one round. If you win that round you don't need to compete in the next one(s) but if you don't win that round you can compete in the next one(s).

The Rules:

-Phasing/Joint Breaking is judged by me. Usually I'll say it's fine but there might be a few exceptions.
-Blackholes allowed unless being used to cheat.
-You can submit as much as you want.
-Here is how ties work:
piece count tie: who ever is fastest wins
tick count tie: more badges wins
badge count tie: less pieces wins.
-You can submit for just one category or all three if you want.
-If in one round three different people get first, then there will be a tiebreaker for that round in which less pieces wins.
(Example of above:
Joe has the least pieces
Bill has the fastest time
Frank has the most badges
On the tiebreaker round:
Joe has 4 pieces
Bill has 5 pieces
Frank has 6 pieces
Joe wins that round.)
- I accept these badges:
:champ: Champ
:boomerang: Boomerang
:clean: Clean
:brown: Brown
:water: Water
:handsoff: Handsoff
:rodless: Rodless
:unconnected: Unconnected
:green: Green
:sweep: Sweep
:woodrod: Carpenter
:badgeless: Badgeless
I don't except the desert badge.
-Submit in a PM like this:

Name
Round x
Simple: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx
Speed: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx
Badges: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=xxxxxx

(Replace Name with your name and x with the round number.)

I will give you one round each week. I hope you have fun with this comp! If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask me.

Seems like fun, but could you give us a list of which badges you allow?

Nice! I don't think it mattered in this round, but in the future, if someone submits less than three solves, you should put their best solve for each category into those other categories even if they don't explicitly say to.
