Tube 'Pult

I don't know if this is the right kind of subject for this thread but, i would really like to see if anyone can make a catapult that works on "tube". So far i have only seen 1 attempt and will post it if i can find it again.

The 2nd one is more like what i was talking about. Wouldn't the 1st machine be categorized as a trebuchete? Anyways ty.
