Boy this thread makes me wish we could save bots rather than levels. Remakings some of these complicated designs for every new challenge takes away from tweaking time

It doesn't really take much height to beat a Sniper - the height of the contraption itself (if it uses the full height of the work area) should about suffice, which makes Yao Ming massive overkill.

What I meant is not so much the height but the speed of the arm and the angles.

A minor tweak is a minor tweak usually means that a minor tweak by the other bot will score a win again i.e. me and weasel's tweak battle on the other soccer thread. I'm sure a talented sniper builder could think of a way over. That being said While playing around with it i noticed if tweaked right it actually becomes offensive and throws the ball back at the sniper which leads me to believe it could be tweaked to completely shut down the sniper route. Lets hope nobody can build tooo much better of a sniper though.

The orignial soccer arena had a rule of only 4 wheels max and a rule of unified design. (your whole contraption has to be linked in 1 peice) So add some chain links to some things!

2) The design you beat is an invalid soccer design.
3) You don't hold "titles" for anything. There are no titles.

OK then,,,, i read the first post but still dont understand what ur trying to do. I beat the last dude fair and square. If i didnt then PLEASE EXPLAIN!! How is my design INVALID??? Its kickin a$$ on the other soccer field!!!

AND i DO hold titles,,, or wins,, whatever u wanna call it. Im just glorifying it more by calling my wins titles. Technically im right,, im the current champ and i hold the title in the other soccer arena and in 2 sumo arenas SO i have 3 other titles,, wins,, OK!!!!

Now explain to me what im doing wrong so i can compete here.... (im asking nicely)??

This thread is about building the ultimate soccer machine that can beat all opponents. Most of us are in here cause the other soccer thread is all but dead and burned and any design in there has been beaten by someone in less than 4 min with a shovel. The only way to hold any "title" in my opinion is to build a machine that can't be beat ever and no thats not a shovel. Theres also the position in here of trying to beat our attempts at an "unbeatable" machine (see: contenders). That might be more suited to you funwise, you know trying to beat all our designs so we know our weaknesses.

The reason I and some othere people get frustrated with you seniorxj, is that you seem pretty arrogant by your continued braggart posts. I've beaten your designs on every level, several times. But then someone else then beats me. You have some good designs, but you attitude guarantees that people will give you a hard time. If want everyone to think your a bratty 12 year-old, keep going like you are, otherwise be proud when you win, but quit being a jerk.

Well i didnt think anyone would take it SO personal!! Im jus havin fun and theres really NO attitude or arrogants behind it at all!!!!! I dont know how to explain it any other way that its just havin fun and not what u think it is. I say if ur takin it like that then ur WAY to serious about this and need to relax!!!!!!!!!
