Have you been playing too much Fantastic Contraptions?

Postby Sumaleth on Wed Aug 27, 2008 3:33 am

The top five signs that you've been playing too much Fantastic Contraptions:

5. You accidentally knock over your drink, and subconsciously reach for the Stop button so you can try again.
4. Some rubbish you throw at a trash can rolls around the rim and then falls to the floow, and you wish you could post it on Hilarious Failures.
3. A truck overtakes you on the freeway and don't like that he's using more than four wheels.
2. You have a dream about fetching your mail using just rods and wheels, and you manage to get it all the way back to your front door only to find the mail is bigger than the door.
1. When you get to a difficult question in your tax return forms, you wonder how Entity would answer it.

Oops, I linked the wrong map. That one was a bit too easy. ;)

Here's the right one:

Judging by designid I was first with 3 pieces :)

Judging by Time Stamp, we tied. But my post is first, so it made it before yours. Your Design ID beat mine by 1. This is a pretty tough call.

I'd been working on a 2 piece (without the upper ball) but found that it was fruitless.

Hmm, I think designID says a lot more about who is first and should be the only criteria for a win. The time taken to type up the response post is kind of irrelevant to the challenge.

Yes, the ID is the ultimate decider, but it's amazing that two three-piece solutions were saved at exactly the same time.

Buu takes it by a whisker.

I got it in 0 pieces: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=945136

A part of the goal piece was part in the start area and the rest of it was outside.

I know it may be considered "cheating"...but I think I've got you all beat.

How about a zero piece failure?
