Re: BROWN ELIMINATION COMPETITION R2 RESULTS UP!!!

yep yep yep.

here is some visual aid :D

http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=10948567 if it were to clear 2 objects, it would be 2 longway points.

you cannot get longway points after the ball has gone in the goal zone and recived a victory.

What if it does a loop the loop around an object or goes across between two objects?

Re: BROWN ELIMINATION COMPETITION R2 RESULTS UP!!!

Haha, just looked at the level for Round 4. Hell, I'd have a hard time even solving that level, let alone doing it more complicated . Just out of intrest, which is the zero longway method? Is it bring it down then bridge, because catapulting it over might be just as easy.

Re: BROWN ELIMINATION COMPETITION R2 RESULTS UP!!!

Hey Rlbabits, you can't just keep going around the same static object over and over again can you? I don't think that should count, how about you guys.

Re: BROWN ELIMINATION COMPETITION R2 RESULTS UP!!!

hmm would be interestng to get some other feedback, how about minimum 3 times longway a particular static? Or how about you can't go longway around the same object twice in a row?
Ed* thinking I like the second idea here

Ed* LB update

cruiser40 hits the gas and leaves many in the dust, to settle in right behind jonnychoob
in the meantime, thik's valiant efforts to knock remy of his precarious perch are to no avail, and i am sure causing much frustration
jhawk, without lifting a finger, is trasported away from the bottom seat, and cooljenny may want to step up to the plate and swing a bit harder next time

Re: BROWN ELIMINATION COMPETITION R2 RESULTS UP!!!

This speed race is done for me... great job remy. My design is as fast as it will go & I don't want to build a different design. I guess I will have to get you next round.

why limit it? I'm for maximum flexibility. If someone can get it to do 50 loops around one piece, why not?

that said, I suspect Thik Tip likely sees something I don't. (like people will avoid going under the stage?)

My suggestion: no credit for going around an object more than once unless you go around all the objects at least once.

Re: BROWN ELIMINATION COMPETITION R3 Results Up!!!

Results Up!!

I'd like to say great job everyone who submitted!
and GREAT job to hero and magnum! who pulled out of the dead zone just in time very clutch and very cool guys. especilly magnum who submitted a ton of designs and finally got in the safe zone!

also huge congratz to remy and thik with by FAR the least ticks

Edit* sorry hero i don't consider slight phasing cheating. in fact i put that gap in there hoping some would find it useful.
I think thik would even agree, he does it all the time in the mag shuffle
black holes and level edits/collab with others is what i consider cheating.
remy's design is a strategy. and you could have asked me if yours was legal, and of course the answer would have been yes.
