here's the ball out with 58pc (3 more pc than skips' original, 18 more than the doc's above)

Still... we should be able to shave a ton off of this... I just through it together to see if it would work, and it did.

hmmm,,,, thats another idea.
I was hoping skips would en up something like this: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11600743
But I dont know which one we is the most can be tweaked most efficient

ahh, I see. I was wondering how you guys we're going to finish that and get the ball high enough.

Gives me a new idea, why not skip the climber?

Still doesn't hang on to the ball, but I'd assume there's a lucky tweak in there somewhere

this looks promising.

tweaked jdels and got the ball about a tenth of the way up but of course, it slips out

here is a 38 piece design based on a top removal like jdel's: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11600809 it gets close to the top and decides it wants to play a little more hard to get, lol...will keep working on it, tho

See, here we go!. (although ball drops down when it reaces top:( )
more piece efficient, added a few pieces to weight, but it is still 13 pieces less than jdc`s methode

ball's out...used jdel's design that dokq tweaked...added 2 pieces: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11600884

I didn't do this in time to do it on IGLima's less-pc design, but the next thing to do would be to drop a lifter

http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11600955

that doesn't quite make it all the way down, but i'm out of time for the day. see you guys tomorrow.
