Many more pieces than necessary and a failure at that. This is what happens when you play this game and are extremely tired.

The yellow piece needs to be further to the left, the ball can't fit through that gap.

There is a reason I took that many pieces. The yellow block has to be much, much further along.
Close but I am running out of patience: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11639573

after some tweaking, i got this to happen
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11639678
which leads me to believe that another purple ball might be needed for more power...

here is an idea that can be trimmed down considerably (i don't have the time at the moment to do it myself): http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11639801

i redid how the ball came off the 2nd landing and saved a few pieces...right now 46 pieces have been used and i didn't make the yellow bar pusher yet, so at least there is another idea to tinker with...btw, excellent maze rianbay :) ...definitely gonna be a toughie!

The main thing is that this design is a good 400 ticks slower and takes up the yellow bar pusher's place...

i agree with you feste...it's too many pieces and it is slower...i am not saying use this design...however, the idea i was trying to convey was a pult that throws to another pult...otherwise, there is gonna be a heck of a lot of pieces used (ie. more wheels and rods) to pult the ball off the ground only...and, the yellow bar pusher can be reconfigured around the extra pult or vice versa

http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11639866 to next part, not too efficient
edit: if schmittd's design gets working it would be alot better

close: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11639904

EDIT solved: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11639974 (a solve on the inefficient design)

gonna work on a more efficient middle and a cooler ending :)
