Well done!
I know HOW to make my last design work, but it's taking tons of tweaking and unfortunately I spent all my free time yesterday making one of the other designs work. Unless I get terribly lucky in the time I have left, grats to jdel!

Hmm, the little time I spent on my design makes me think it won't work afterall. Can't wait to see what jdel came up with!

gonna push the due date back to Thursday at 11PM Pacific due to the the FC problems.

however, it does look like the full screen version works.

http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/gam ... aption.swf

so as long as you have saved designs on each level, you can tweak and save 'em.
not sure if there's any way to alter that link to access levels/designs that aren't saved under your account, for shuffles and such.

Place the designid or levelid after the link to access previously saved designs. This link...
Code: Select all
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/game/Contraption.swf?designId=11168836

...for example goes to Cruiser's blue design challenge from a couple of threads back.

Jeez, Cruiser. Breaking FC just to get yourself an extra day to tie me seems a bit, well, petty... wouldn't you say?

My level 1 3-piece is almost working. Just haven't had time to work on it.

You don't have a 2-piece for level 1.

MtDewd and Bisam jump in the mix with nice solves.

28 hours to go.
Look for one final update in the afternoon.
Tiebreaker unlikely to be released early (still got to pick it/'em)

Well crap, wasn't able to get on yesterday, so I figured I'd pop on to see the results. An extension and no time to tweak...just put me out of my misery! :)

MtDewd and Paleo move up into striking distance as Crusher joins choob and jdel atop the board.

Here is the tiebreaker should you care to start:

:argh:

it's been pointed out to me that the tiebreaker level is not just cake, it's cake that's been ground up and pureed so there's no danger you'd chip a tooth on the frosting.

so look for a 2 level tiebreaker. I'll include this level of course, since it's already been worked on, and a 2nd level (probably overreaction hard)

edit:
here is the 2nd level.
hopefully not too dicey. and between the 2, maybe we can get some separation between the leaders
