I got lucky on one solve thanks to Jdel's hint... I am very close to shaving one off 1 but no luck yet so I guess I'm checking out with my score as is

good having you as always, Paleo

level 1 was by Linkzcap:

level 2 was by Afronanny:
http://fc.sk89q.com/level?levelId=492245

and dangit, I thought level 3 was from bsking, but I just looked thru his levels and didn't find it. I'll try to figure out who I swiped it from.

anyway..... results up

Nice work to those who got level 1 with 3 pieces. I was close, but could never get the CW wheel and stick to stay just right.

Cool comp. Thanks for hosting.

Compscure,
You may want to give JC a time limit.

Here's a post from ID36 from the One on One comp thread:

[quote="ID36"]Via MSN
(11:55:07 PM) Danny: jdel wants to know if you've finished
(11:58:08 PM) Jonny: oh i havent really been playing
(11:58:20 PM) Jonny: i think im just gonna focus on survivor when i do play
(11:58:28 PM) Danny: might wanna let jdel know
(11:58:31 PM) Jonny: you can face him if you want
(11:58:34 PM) Danny: ok

he read the PM, but didn't respond.

levels this time were by Mr. Lemons and Nurket
and what do you know, tie again
hats off to these guys

TB1: 4 Pieces
TB2: 7 Pieces

Total: 11 pieces

jdel
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11202410 4pc
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11211994 7pc

Total: 11pc

So here's the tiebreaker tiebreaker:
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=565922

Due in one week or whenever you both lock in
I don't believe in breaking piece ties with other stats or making piece levels any tougher than this, so if this one is a tie you 2 are co-champs

The last time I remember jdel in a non-speed comp final was in fact in another comp hosted by compscure, the "Get skinny" comp. I was part of that and it was great fun. Perhaps after Survivor's over, you could host another, compscure?

You know what? I genuinely thought I won that comp until I looked it up... It turns out that you did, oh master crusher :(

I won the rematch that you didn't have time to devote to though :)
