The way this competition works:
There will be two teams, Elitists and Speed Demons, and they both have the same objectives: Solve the level to earn the most points possible from badges while:
(if Elitist) trying to have as little amount of pieces /or/
(if Speed Demon) trying to solve as fast as possible.
When a round is over, I will average the scores for both teams. The team with the lower average will have the people with the worst score on that team, for that round, eliminated according to this scale:
10+ people left on team: 3 eliminations
4-9 people: 2
1-3 people: 1
The people who would get eliminated would have:
(if Elitist) the most pieces in their solve, a tie would be solved by ticks /or/
(if Speed Demon) the most ticks, a tie would be solved by pieces
If one team gets totally eliminated, scoring will be changed to ONLY least-pieces/ticks.
Scoring will be thus:
Solving the level: 5 points
+ one of the following if achieved:
: 3 points (these do not stack)
-: 5 points
--: 6 points
--: 6 points
Extra badges:
: 3 points
: 3 points
: 5 points
: 5 points
: 2 points
Qualifier (most creative solution wins a cookie :D)
