FC is getting boring

This site is getting full on trolls and they rate all levels bad. It is almost imposible to have a popular level and i'm running out of level ideas.

Here is my problem, Fantastic-Man.

First, you make a thread about how there is a lot of fighting and flame.

So next, you make a thread about how this game is boring? I don't think that's going to water down the flame, if you ask me.

I'm still relatively new to the forum and the full version, things are still exciting for me. or is it just that you guys need to be more creative. Fantastic Contraption was meant to have endless possibilities, not just be fun for a couple of months.

It's all about how you look at it, did you know that some time in the middle of the 1800's people thought that EVERYTHING had been invented, they were SO wrong. As for level ratings there's nothing you can really do about it, don't listen to the top 100.

FC has only a finite number of possibilities. I stopped making levels because I've seen or made practically all possible types of levels.

What might help, is to take a break for a couple days (or more) and then come back with a refreshed mind.

What I do for new level ideas is look up words that would spark an idea. My newest word is 'ramify' which means to branch out. And now I just build a level off of that one idea.

Go onto the real wiki and search for a random article, then think of the first word that pops into your head as you see the page. Then make a level based on that word

It's not just levels either, there are other things in the world of FC...



If you guys are so bored then try to quit, see how long it takes before you go crazy because you can't play FC

It's hard to tell if an extender you "invented" is new or not. It might be a slight variation from an existing one or someone who's never been on the forums maybe have made something like it before.
