FC for ipod- wont xfer to ipod

For some reason my ipod wont allow me to transfer the app over to my ipod from my mac. It's doing this with Colloquy too. Any ideas?

Have you got iPhone OS 3.0 or later, some apps require you to have that, and I know for a fact that FC does.

I don't have the new OS. Sigh, just a way to make me spend more money on the same damn apps that I bought.

I'm downloading the new update now. I figured even though it is ridiculous they'll probably only raise the price and the best thing to do is to get the update right now.

Also, I got FC a while ago and it didn't require any updates. It works fine, too. Hm.

? I updated to os 3.0 (current version is 3.1.xxx)
And I didnt have to repay for my apps. If you manually download it again from the appsstore using the same account it will say "You have already purchased this item, to reinstall press OK"

Easy as that. Same with downloading from Itunes Store. Hope this helps.

I didn't lose any apps too, I actually gained one. It was some microphone note thing which I will never be able to use.

But I noticed that it's harder to connect to the internet for whatever reason.

I bought the Iphone just so I could play FC on it. But after realizing how sucky the iphone was and also how I was forced to use Itunes, I gave it to my wife.

Also, FC on the Iphone was just lame compared to the browser version.

I might try it again on my wifes Iphone to see if what your saying is happening to hers. But, I doubt I will muster up enough courage to log onto Itunes.

If its harder to connect I dunno. Its faster for me.

I didn't lose apps, just the ability to use them. They were still in my itunes. But I downloaded the update. I can say that I do like the icon organizer in itunes rather than dragging stuff around with my finger

Do you have Bluetooth on? Because some people say that the two confict with each other, and that you should only have one on at a time.

My computer downloaded the versions of the apps which required the vers 3.1 update, since my ipod was running 2.1 it was not compatable with the new apps, so while I still had them in itunes they would just stay there and not transfer to my ipod for use.

But since I downloaded the new update all is well.

After the app went to version 2.0, some 3.x required functionality was added (playing/selecting own music in app). Hope that explains that!
