A hide button [Suggestion]

As I have been reading several complaints about the new share buttons,
I have come up with a new solution.

A hide button

It may hide all the buttons, or maybe specific ones, but either way - I think it is a great idea.

Oh and while you are at it jkh had a great idea with the "copy to clipboard" suggestion.

Adding another button for the purpose of hiding the others is not going to do us any good.
What is the point of having the share buttons if everyone in FC Is going to hide them? They will be out of sight, out of mind.
Overlapping descriptions bug is fixed now anyway, so now I really don't see a reason.

Yes it is. It doesnt have to literally be a button, it could be in the Settings page or maybe a little toggle when viewing the design or levels page. [Like the music or simple graphics toggle]

What is the point of having share buttons if everyone in FC is going to ignore them?
I believe the reason inXile added the share buttons was to let FC'ers share designs..

As I see it, no one who is a hard-♥♥♥ Contraptionist likes the buttons, but the newbies - its probably a once or twice time thing for them - may want to share the game with a friend.

For me personally, I just dont like the clutter.
And I assume its the same for most, as they would not be complaining about it if it were just that they don't like them.

I'm pretty sure that the mentality of most, if not all people is that "i'm going to hide all this clutter before i even use it"

Maybe have it as a setting in "Account", like a check box.

What's the big deal if they are there?

You aren't forced to click them and they don't block the description or anything.
