Postby compscure on Sat Mar 20, 2010 12:27 pm

It was for the actual FC1 game and not the forum.

Using IE-8, Google gives me the same type warning.

I also get a pop-up every 30 seconds (supposedly from Adobe) that says A 3D data parsing error has occured.

My anti-virus blocked a troan attampting to load from somewhere called "appledrink.net (I believe.)

Earlier today, before I had updated my real-time scanner, I was actually infected with a trojan from that site, through (as far as I can tell) a flash ad on the FC home page.

I'm continually getting that same "3D data parsing error" on this forum as well.

It's really a shame that, since I actually paid for this game, I'm having to suffer flash ads, pop-ups, and malware attacks.

I got a nasty virus on my school computer last Friday. If this keeps up, I (and all my students who have gotten accounts on my suggestion) will likely loose access from school. I don't have any control over what browser, etc. I use there. Thanks for working on a solution, as my students really enjoy the competitions we have between classes.

I also get a pop-up every 30 seconds that says A 3D data parsing error has occured.
Kaspersky give a popup that a trojan is attempting to load.

What gives?

I also get a warning in Safari. I turned off fraudulent site warnings and didn't have the problem. It works fine now.

I haven't had any trouble with trojans (probably because I'm running on a Mac). My advice would be to turn on your firewall(s) and run anti-virus/malware/trojan software. I'm guessing the 3D data parsing error is a result of a blip in the Flash plugin caused the trojan's upload. On second thought, that doesn't make much sense. O well.

AdBlock Plus + FireFox + disable blocking of reported sites = Virus-free FC*

Please only use AdBlock Plus when this virus problem is occurring.

*Make sure NOT to visit untrusted sites while you have the blocking disabled.

We have been working with Google to identify and remove the offending materials. Our servers were compromised and fantasticcontraption.com has now been cleared by google.com as being malware free.

This is an issue we take very seriously. We apologize for the inconvenience, but grateful that Google provides safety to our users.
