Hey guys, about FCML stuffies.

The FCML equations stuff/circle generator/other cool stuff is all broken

Soo...

I'm wondering whether you'd like something like that. I (think I) could set up an flash graphic that could spit out FCML code for circles/various polygons/random equations maybe

Buut, I don't really want to do it unless you guys really want something like that. I've forgotten how to do a few things and I would have to relearn them :/

hmmm
here http://fc.sk89q.com/webfcml/screenshot? ... 71bcd79c19 the angles are chaotic
in circles http://fc.sk89q.com/webfcml/screenshot? ... 16f84d0138 the placement is chaotic too
k i know the problem. c++ calculates in RADIANS. i don't know how to make it work in degrees :(
EDIT it works :D
if anyone wants the code PM me :D (c++ text editor needed)
here's the result: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=606722

EDIT used an equation to make an elipse http://fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=606819
if anybody would do the angles he's TOTALLY KICKASS at math

sine curve http://fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=606830
parabola http://fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=606901

I don't have a compiler on my mom's computer, but I got my TI-84 to spit out calculations the angles and locations of pieces. Because of the inability to copy-paste things, I only used a tolerance of 10 rectangles, but the initial shape looks good to me

My ultimate goal out of this project is to learn how to code from scratch, coming up with a general program that would plot any function onto FCML. The result will be really cool looking waves and curves.

Edit: Here's what it looks like with 40 rectangles http://fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=615115
Here's 60 http://fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=615116
