I have seen many of these misspellings numerous times all over the forum, but hopefully this will clear up any misconceptions you may have concerning the English language. I know you are not required to use proper grammar or to spell accurately on the forum, but from now on, it is an official requirement."

#1: ATTENTION (Not attension!)
#2: COMPETITION
#3: (DIS)QUALIFIED
#4: LIKE (Honestly, you have got to be kidding me.)
#5: AWESOME (Not awsum...)
#6: HAPPENED (Yes! There is ANOTHER "E" right after the N! I know, it's amazing isn't it?)
#7: PIECE ( Does, "I before E except after C," ring any bells? As you may notice both the "I" and the"E" are before "C", resulting in piece.)
#8: We'll (...opposed to well. Well and we'll are two completely different words. This goes for all other contractions as well.)
#9: LOGGED
#10: FRIEND
#11: YOU

"These are just a few of the words that have been COMPLETELY OBLITERATED by users like you."


PS: I'm not commenting on slang in this post seeing as I enjoy words such as interwebz, lulz, etc. There is, however, a line to be drawn between slang and absurdity.

You should add words like ur(your), no(know) and all those other stupid things to make it faster. I despise those little words. I would love if the entire world would stop using those stupid things. I like this thread, it is special.


Also a note about stuff. I say o rly sometimes, i am not doing it to type fast, I do it because of my love of o rly owls. Yes, it must be spelled like "o rly", not "Oh, really?. Yup.
