A noob (I might be considered one) is a person who is new to a particular site or forum and is still learning the basic ways that are acceptable in said site or forum. You are not a noob, but noobs tend to not know basic leet speak such as 'noob', 'lol' and 'brb'. A signature is the thing at the side of your posts that contains your avatar and such.

actually, it is a separate thing that is at the bottom of posts, it can contain words or a picture, for example(see below). But the mods turned them offso no sigs.
