Theres always a time in bot battles that someguy show up and starts using those pyramid designs.

Well I guess you are talking about me since I started designing triangle shaped contraptions like the one in this battle about 2 years ago. I really do not see the problem with it, they tend to be very efficient which I always strive for.
By the way, sorry you didn't win the World Cup. I was cheering for your team.

Yeah, theyre really efficient, but almost unbeatable.
I think they pretty much can win any pushing game, so it gets boring seeing everyone get beaten by the same design.
