I wonder how many people will submit with scores over 500? :)

Anyone got any hints for Canyon? I am suffering with +13 for that.
I think I have good designs for all the rest though.

I'm about to submit as well, think I have a good shot at winning a price, but I won't get my hopes up. the winner probably has something like -24 :sigh:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getStage() on a non-object in /home/mnewman/public_html/tools/scorecalc.php on line 108

thx

I've had this happen before. Basically I would save a new design, add it to the calculator and get this error. If I removed the new design it worked fine. I would end up resaving the 'bad' design and entering in the new id. Often this worked.

Thanks, GaminKWB! Worked like a charm. I appreciate the assistance. I'll send you a cool Displacement solve from my iPod to yours in a few weeks :)

[quote] bsking wrote[/Ummmm....I am not one of the morans who pop off about how under 20 on canyon is impossible and negatives is rediculous....But that being said, your predictions are rediculous. If you have spent any time on the levels whatsoever you would know that a -20 is 100% not possible, let alone -30.

A 7 on canyon is the absolutle minimum, and Im not positive that it is possible. That makes you have to go -23 for the rest of the levels.

Be a champ MIGHT be possible at -3....that leaves you to get -20 for the other 3.

-6 on displacement would be absolutely perfect...leaving -14 for gatekeeper and stuck.

-6 on stuck could be possible, leaving -8 on gatekeeper.....

-8 on gatekeeper is not possible......

You need to think through your predictions a little better, or if you think someone is hitting -25 give me a pm and i'd love to make a friendly wager with you.quote]

I have to disagree with a couple of your numbers.
Be a champ can have a better score than -3 I know this to be true.
Displacement can theoretically be done at a better score than -6 I would say -8 is possible i don't have that score though.
Gatekeeper most likely has an efficient blue ball solution that would allow a -8 I don't have that solution but I would bet someone has.

So I would say -20 is possible I would be unlikely for one person to come up with all these solutions alone. but it's not impossible.
I can't wait till the 21st. I will be posting links to my designs on this thread along with my overall score which probably won't win anything unless I am hugely overestimating peoples abilities. I hope others will as well.

Well... I have realised my score not improved for quite a while now...
So, I have submitted to free myself of this addiction.
(I guess I can make breakfast for my kids now... They look rather hungry :))

PS. My estimate I will lose because my canyon score sucks.
Several people will have negative teen scores. (I only have -9)
Some with less than -20.

Xyle, you really shouldn't post your final score on the forums.

I don't know, once you reach a negative score it looks like there isn't much room for the winning solves to be really surprising...there's only so many ways you can solve a level with two rods...

I'm done, and my vitals are the lowest they've been in weeks :)

I'm very proud of my designs, and like all of you, spent one heck of a lot of time and effort to make them as perfect as the particular strategy allows.

If one believes half of what is in this thread, you guys really do rock, and I bow to you in humility!
You do know there's no taking advantage of glitches, etc? lol
All will reveal soon enough!

Not winning is fine; I've gained 10x iPod value in the life experiences of perseverance and creativity!

Can't wait to see the finals~

I would like to see a big negative score from gatekeeper from a rodless solution. I had a rodless solution about the second day of the contest. I have slowly widdled it down but not quite as low as my brown solution. A -8 I could see as possible but if you spent time trying it rodless you will realize that to get it the low amount of wheels it would require does not provide an adequate amount of force to create what is needed to do what is needed. When will we know the results? BTW i do not believe the person who said they ended with a -9 and if shown after contest I will admit being wrong. I will say I burnt myself out a little on this tourny and miss the player made designs I just can't seem to get around to them do to my competitive nature. My prediction is their will be a few negative scores say -1 to -5, 20-30 of 0-9 pointers and a ton of double digits.
