I just want to be shocked and awed by all these negative solutions! I'll be dissapointed if they take advantage of glitches or something. I'm going to stop tweaking by 11 and go ahead and submit... The last few days have yielded a few points, but negative numbers are not even within reach for me.

I had a displacement that used the same # of rods and got the clean badge and champ badge and did it in 163 ticks.
I scrapped that when I improved upon it. Stop trolling for ideas to improve your score before you submit. You'll see them tomorrow.
