This is for you hardcore Multiplayer junkies out there. Yes, there are other soccer-like threads out there, but none quite as challenging as this one.The Goal in this game type is to get the ball into your opponent's goal. Seems pretty straight-forward. The DIFFERENCE, is that you need to do it without pushing your opponent into his own net, thus filling it up. The nets have been blocked off, so most bots will render them useless upon falling inside. This is an experimental gametype, so let me know if you think it's too difficult after a few matches.
Alright, on to THE RULES:-Only build on your side of the arena
-Only build underneath the horizontal line
-
DO NOT build inside the
blue lines-5 powered wheels maximum are allowed per player
-3 unpowered wheels maximum per player
-25 rod maximum per player
DISQUALIFICATIONS:-Any bot that relies on a large bunch of rods as a weight is disqualified
-Any player that blocks their net is disqualified
-Glitches are an automatic disqualification
-Your bot must be built as a single unit; no throwing pieces
-Don't mess with your opponent's bot: that's what we call bad sportsmanship
(a.k.a. cheating)SUBMISSION PROTOCOL:-Every player is
REQUIRED to post both a link showing the soccer match, as proof of victory, as well as a link to your bot by itself after carefully deleting your opponent. This may seem arbitrary, but doing so lowers the confusion level of "who is who" by quite a bit.
Don't forget, give me any and all feedback!NEW RULE: Any bot that has not been beaten after 3 days of being posted is hereby declared a "dead end". When this happens, the creator of that bot can start a new battle, with an
EASY bot. If that person is nowhere to be found...someone else can do it.
So, without further ado;
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!First Opponent:
