Two Clockwise wheels, so it runs faster.

That design doesn't even function for me.

I think the rolling catapult is a very good idea but I agree that cart/trigger design isn't capable.

Edit: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=8600263 Ok, so a one wheel pult is capable. Is there any other trigger methods that might work? That style pult is gonna be ridiculous to tweak to the right release point and aim. Any other ideas?

http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=8600453 Here is one that triggers when the edge is hit. good luck redesigning it, and getting it up.

http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=8601489 Initial test of your new cart shows premature fire. I'll work on it more later today.

I can't seem to make a cart that will survive the fall over that wall but still release before falling off the level...

I haven't tried anything yet, but if we made a sort of chain catapult, so that when the cart got to the end the chain tightened and the ball be thrown up to the top, that might work.

The timing looks like it will work. I still think tweaking the aim will be a nightmare!

Here's my closest attempt:
http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=8627417

It triggers at the right time but doesn't launch the ball high enough.

I was thinking that some cart design similar to Sgt Superman's or this one would work best. I'm currently working on a promising design which triggers at the right time, but the ball falls out early.

every thing I tried to use as a chain cause the car to fail

The most annoying thing is that the slightest possible tweak can completely destroy everything

Here's a new design idea (Note: not the same level; build area was resized for testing)

http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=8639835

The only problem is trying to get the cart up smoothly, everything else runs (almost) fine.
