Messing up that file won't do anything bad. It's not a very critical file.

However, just wait a few days. My friend finally replied to my emails.

The file lets you override the IP address for certain addresses (like google.com). If you put invalid data into the file, Windows will just ignore it. It cannot prevent Windows from starting.

However, I'd just wait at this point, since I finally got in contact with my friend.

sk, do you have a possible time frame of getting the original URL back? (If you can't change it back, then we have tons of work to do at the wiki unless my bot will work.)

Is there going to be any update to FC++? I have modified a local version of FC++ to point to the new URL, but didn't know if there was going to be an official update.
