-7+-8=-15
-7 x -8=56
(you can make -15x and 56 with: -7 and -8)

(x-7)(x-8) <----- thats the same formula as: x^2-15x+56

x = 7 or x = 8

check the awsers:

7^2 -15 x 7 +58 = 49 - 105 + 58 = 2 :D

8^2 - 15 x 8 +58 = 64 - 120 + 58 = 2 =D

there you go, X = 7 or 8

thats a different equation than what you posted originally lol
but brian's solution to the first question is correct,
and the solution to your second one is also correct

yeah, you also can use that method, but you can't at the equation from the level because it has normal x's, a x^2 and numbers. then you use the method I used or its impossible to solve. :D
