The designs that so called "block the ball" give an actual challenge, while the "legal" designs destroy the game

I agree completely. But someone designed this game and it should be played according to the rules, otherwise, what is the point?

I posted a while back that I thought folks should try to design games where there CAN be a final winner. People don't seem to be interested in this so we have these "competitions" where it is easy to win.

Maybe you should design a competition where there is a challenge to be able to win.
