can't log in to FC2 boards

Yeah, I'm gonna use the trouble form over there, but I'm curious if I'm the only one having the problem.

Since last night I have not been able to fully log on to FC2 boards. I log on, but cannot view PMs or post. It shows me as as a "guest" viewing the boards on the bottom, though it does show me logged in on the index page and I can play the game. When I try to post something, I am sent to the login page where it seems to accept my log in info, but I still can't do anything.

It's not my password. I've reset it (and when I try typing a bad one, it does let's me know)

happens to me on both Chrome and Firefox.

Last night I assumed it was a general problem on the boards (since no one had posted in hours), but people have posted overnight.

bug? baned? hacked?

This happening to anyone else?

edit: at the top of the page, it does indicate I am logged in, but I cannot see the PM indicator, cannot post, and show as a "guest" at the bottom of the page.

I'm having the exact same problem here.

Tried both IE and Firefox on two different computers and results are the same.

seems to be something with the IP's

I went thru vectroproxy and it let me sign on.
I think we've been IP baned somehow

Yeah sorry guys, our fault. We added the ability to resize the text on the forums, which includes a cookie to save your choice(helpful for those on small or oversize screens). That jacked up the forum cookies.

We fixed it, but you'll have to clear your cache and remove the old cookies for it to work again.

I personally think Safari is horrible, but the mac version isn't so bad.

Although, I still use firefox on my mac :P

Hm, I'll look into it... Did you go to reset safari and use that to clear the cookies? Also try using the support form http://www.sparkworkz.com/support/

You also have to clear the cookies- Go to the options menu->Under the Hood->Clear browsing data->Delete cookies. Alternatively you can try to find the related cookie(s) itself and delete them by going into the developer tools.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We didn't think that would occur when we made the change, but it did anyway and there was no way to undo it.

I did, when it said clear cache, the "delete cookies" option was also selected

Hm, well that's wierd... What browser/OS are you using? You cleared the cookies of "all time" and not just last day or so?

One of my co-workers had the same problem and said clearing cookies/cache didn't help, but he forgot to say "all time" rather than "last hour" cookies.

Has anyone else experienced that where cookies/cache clearing doesn't fix it?
