Something New - Dynamic Shuffle

Postby jdelgado06 on Thu Jul 29, 2010 7:45 am

Ok, it's been a while since we've tried anything COMPLETELY NEW around here... so this might not work out first try, but I think the potential is here for this to be something pretty cool. I present to you:

DYNAMIC SHUFFLE

The Rules
- An edit consists of no dynamic pieces, and no build area (it's moved off the screen).
- To solve it, you must make it auto-solve by adding only dynamics! No messing with the goal piece or the green pieces.
- No putting dynamics inside each other, or over green pieces or goal piece.
- It's sort of like the whole screen is your build area, but your only tools are yellow blocks and orange balls.

Other than that, no real strict rules on edits (except for no dynamics!). The people that still visit the forums here know how to shuffle. Shift green pieces around, add one or two, delete one or two, etc...

Example:
If this were the last edit: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=551496
This would be a solve: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=551500

So let's give it a try. Here's a fresh edit:

lol, nice. From now on, how about we add one rule, no putting dynamics inside each other, or over green pieces or goal piece... I want to avoid "glitchy" stuff to give it a more legit sort of feel.

i could barely squeeze the small yellow dynamic under the ball but thats the smallest "glitchy" thing this design has.

i like it .... editing is a challenge, I guess if you move a green piece by accident that it requires a little bit of scouts honor to get it sorta back where it started from... ?

thanks, I might have killed it though... my latest edit is tougher than I thought it would be. Trying to solve it now. If i don't get anywhere in a little while i'll make an easier edit.

ya, the right side is one tough maama-jama to time. FCML would probably be the best way to edit these.... i didnt think of that.... you can do exact tweaking
