I have the latest shockwave/flash players installed on IE7, cleared every cache, and for the past couple of weeks, I still cannot get past the infamous 'blue bubble screen'. This is worse than when I signed on, back in the day (and it was pretty bad then, too). Trying to use it from the ad-free page hasn't worked at all over that time - and once or twice in the past two weeks I was actually able to get to the first 'player levels' page, on the ad-cluttered-nonfunctional-zoom-but-i'm-desperate-to-play page.

Need an FC fix,

pm Jaredr26, or anyone you can from clicking the black Inxile group on the bottom of the index page, they will be in work as it is now Monday and could have a fix for you quickly.

Also did you make sure you cleared you flash cache? Google it, I'm sure that it will get you what you want if you haven't done so already.

I just went here:

and cleared every last bit of the flash cache. Signed in to FC and still staring at bubbles when I click "player levels" whether on the ad-page or ad-free page.

I did manage to connect last night, somewhat late in the evening.

Still a problem - maybe once in twenty attempts I'll get through on the ad page. Never on the ad-free page. Nothing yet via email.

Still an issue - once every few days I might get to the first page of the player levels pages (and if so, probably will only see it once), and no success at all via the ad-free page. I try at least daily, and at different times of the day or night. Mostly I stare at blue bubbles. It's a sad story, yes.

The levels interface seems to work ok, though - don't usually use that but so far I've been able to see/solve a few levels. Always used the PLAYER LEVELS button - guess that's Old School.

It still sticks at "My Levels", though.

This is still a problem. The ad free page is unusable here as it freezes at the bubble screen at any database access attempt (Player levels/My Designs/My Levels). Once in a great while, it'll work - for one single access to the database.

I get that problem every one in a while, but not nearly as much and usually on the same thing (i.e. a certain lvl or design) I just refresh and try again, thought in your case I doubt that would work.

thanks for the tip, bitasy1 - that actually worked once, but not since. I've given up on the usual (old-style) interface. I really miss the ad-free, sizable and zoomable version. Those were the days.

I wonder if it has something to do with a change in ISPs and DNS servers. Seriously. Happened at the same time.

I'm getting the bubbles and it won't go away for all the designs

Well dont blame them, there are 60 thousand something pages of levels and who knows how many designs!

It's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. Nothing but blue bubbles now. For the past few days, it's been difficult or impossible just to get to any fantasticcontraption.com page (404 errors), including the forum. Since last night, when I managed to get a connection to FC, it just sticks on the blue bubbles page for any database access (player levels or my designs). It doesn't matter if I use the ad-based or ad-free page. No other web access issues here.

Anybody else having these difficulties?

Ahhh! I am now stuck in bubbles. I cannot load anything at all besides the fist page you see when starting the game. I was playing and it was working fine and then BOOM. It shuts me out.

[Edit] I can still load the levels on the main page actually... but not others designs.
