Who here thinks FC2 is worse than FC1, and will miss these forums when/if they are shut down? If you do, post here. This thread is for all those FC awesomes who play FC1 all the time and make fantastic brown contraptions.

* Still loves FC2

I mainly made this thread because I don't like FC2. I have to pay $10 dollars for a bucks worth of new content, the new sounds are really irritating, and maybe the worst of all, we have to stop posting in this forum and post in a Sparkworx forum instead. I think, if anyone has anything to show from FC2, post it in this forum. This is the forum for Fantastic Contraption, right? And that's still Fantastic Contraption... So why can't we post it here?

To put it simply, the sequel isn't better than the original, and I think if it had its own website, (Like www.fantasticcontraption2.com) then it would be much better. Someone please agree with me. Whoever agrees with me in one way or another, will be put on the list of EAPWDWLFC. (Epic Awesome People Who Don't Want to Leave FC)

well sort of agree they shouldnt have made a new forum.

and they just should have needed to fix blackhole. and the piece count same as FC2
and the edit level are way better more things possible..

It's not a question for me which game is better, but what forum is better- put me down, but asterisk that I love fc2.

Esp. the level editor, also that I have little problem with joint breaking, it's even more close to releasing when you would figure something would in real-world physics. Also powered wheels only went out of style once we ran out of stuff to do with them, but they are much more user friendly in designs with 2.

They fixed lot of things wrong, most of you just aren't ready to learn the new nuances, and that's fine....

@Betcha: Yes, I agree. And, don't get me wrong, I love everything (except the sounds) in FC2, it's just not enough that I think I should have to pay for it again. I mean, I paid $10 to make levels in FC1. Why would I want to make levels in FC2? Because of a few added features? I don't think so. And, I also think it wouldn't be that hard to merge the FC1 and FC2 forums.

FC2 sucks.

I understand all the hard work they put into making things new and better but whatever. They can take away ads. They can add new features. They can make new forums. But FC2 will never, NEVER, be as good or even anywhere near how good the original FC was. And my opinion shall remain this until forever.
