Nicely done Cruiser, I knew that would work but got tired of tweaking.

seems like it's a real either/or whether to minimize pieces or maximize bonus pts.

do you get to use the immunity this round if you get up to 7 pts with this design or do you have to buy it for the next round?

Yeah. I'll let JHawk tell us, but I don't see how it could be for this round because that would be much less intriguing. The devil is in having to balance a decent score for this round vs. bonuses to be used in future rounds. Great concept.

Thanks for hosting JHawk.

I just completely forgot what the point of this comp was and tried to get every bonus.

Haha, I'm really glad you said that, I might think again about submitting my 71 piece solution now.

So far. Lots of pieces and no bonuses. Not quite 71, but definitely above the "shaky ground". Decisions, decisions.

OMG, I just noticed that piece count is the deciding factor for elimination. Lol. I went for badges. Don't think I'll have time to fix. Oh well.

Ugh, my minimalist solution got me no points, but my brown clean champ would've got 10 13...

EDIT: I'm not allowed to change submissions am I? http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11290076 (Quite a long time before the deadine)

I'd like to see it Kai. It seems like you and Cruiser gave up on the maximalist solution, but Irceus took the gamble and whipped us all. Good job, Irceus!

I think I edited my post just before you posted this. But yes, well played Irceus. I was too confident my 7 piece would be minimal.

Thanks guys

Important question: So am I able to solve the level if I want immunity, or is the only way to get immunity is to not solve?

Otherwise, wouldn't you be able to buy immunity, get points from solving the next level for another immunity, rinse and repeat.

My plan is to buy immunity and use 63 pieces to get all the badge points and thus get more points for immunities in future rounds. Oh wait, that's what he said.

To gamble, or not to gamble; that is the question.

Use a :ccwheel: to roll away the top ball, then push the other one right.
