So what if it black holes?

That means I have no idea what you are trying to do. So tweaking is impossible. I have to remove pieces just to get it to run. And I have no idea what the pieces I am removing are intended to do. Also if you have to use a black hole to solve a level, then you failed at solving the level.

All you have to do is start, stop adjust a piece, then start it again.

But I still need some adjustments to this design I made.

I don't think that's going to work. The long wood rod that hits the ball is attached to the pivot, so that rod, and hence the catapult, won't go further away from the pivot than the length of the wood rod, which isn't far enough to get the ball over the ghost. Sorry.
