Powered champ: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11501619
Can be MUCH longer but I wanted it to solve.

Out of the screen
It's 100% weightless.
Longer version: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11501633

Working on making it longer. Maybe another arm?
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11501665 like this? :D

I'm exploring the possibility of using the rianmech thingy to create a HUGE extender. Maybe remy can take it up.

hey guys and gals...i am fairly new to fancon and the forums, but i have been solving avidly for the past several months..i have not been able to get on the forums with my regular account (jdccdj) so i created this one...anyway, i think i have come up with a couple of cool mechs that i want to share with the fancon community...i had read in an earlier post about protogenius exploiting the "stretchiness" of the water rods...this "stretchiness" comes from the joint as it wants to come back together after being pulled apart (or pushed apart) for some distance...i have found a way to exploit this so that it is continuous...1) http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11513275 and 2) http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11516563 ...feel free to tear them apart and see how they work...in #1, after it stabalizes, it picks up a nice steady rhythm...i have noticed that the order in which the rods are placed where the wood oscillating arm is, matters...and, that if you have a static object above the arm, you don't need the tether....i tried many times so far to get a wheel to rotate 360 degrees continuously like a powered wheel, but these are the best i have come up with so far...i also have a small retriever that exploits the "stretchiness" of the joints : http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11500499 ....hopefully, these mechs will open some new avenues...enjoy and thanks -jdccdj....ps. pm me with your thoughts and feedback...thx again

thanks jyo....i know that these mechs pale in comparison to the ones you and your compadre's have created, but i hope to one day create something that has that "WOW, OMG!" factor like you guys have done -- jdccdj

I want to post these:

The Main Contraption

Practical Use #1: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11732623
Practical Use #2: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11678744 Look at the poker
---(If you can't see: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11736511 )---

The Main Contraption
Notice how there is only a 3 piece weight on the catapult

Practical Use #1: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11709797 (look at left side; the thing that pokes the orange ball doesn't have a weight)
Practical Use #2: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11716747
---(if you can't see: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11736513 )---
Notice how there is no weight pushing the stick to knock the ball off

here is a mech i came up with (although i am sure it's been done before) when i started
to solve this level:

ex. 1--mech: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11746646
ex.2--use: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11746543

although the mech rotates the triangle about 570 degrees in ex. 1, i did not
need that much rotation for what i wanted to solve the level...still, it made a
neat retriever

Is this useful for anything?(exept an overpowered catapult?)

Got good possibilities of aiming though:

http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11404882 (only need to be slower , then it keeps rolling to lef to right and right to left)

but i want this with out a powered wheel. green or brown
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11404883
anyone idea for this.
a powered wheels moves for ever is this possible for brown/green with out glitched (and also this thing i don't want http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11377472)

lord_hamybal-
not sure if this is what you are looking for:

idea 1: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11755298 watched for 10,000 tix & still going
idea 2: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11755317 watched for 5,000 tix & still going

if manipulating (stretching) the joints is a glitch, then this may not be what you are looking for...but
i will leave that up to you :)
