A Schmittd Hap Comp! Congrats ID36!

Postby schmittd on Thu Sep 08, 2011 6:09 pm

Hey guys, sorry if my comps are becoming trivial and annoying, but Ive never been part of a Hap comp, so i figured I would start one of my own.

The Rules:
Scoring will be like golf, where the lowest score wins, and is outlined below.
Not completing a level: +90
Each rod or stick: +1 :waterrod: :woodrod:
Unpowered wheels: +2 :upwheel:
Powered wheels: +4 :cwheel: :ccwheel:
Achievements:
A green solution: -10 (use no powered wheels) :green:
A rodless solution -20 (only wheels) :rodless:
A boomerang solution: -7 (bring all goal pieces back to the build area, where they stay) :boomerang:
A water solution: -6 (only water rods used) :water:
A champion solution: -5 (keep all goal pieces in the goal) :champ:
A brown solution: -4 (only rods/sticks used) :brown:
A clean solution: -3 (clear all remains of your machine from the stage) :clean:
A sweep solution -3 (clear all remains of dynamic objects from the stage) :sweep:
A Badgeless solution -1 :badgeless:

Note: no glitchy solutions allowed

Here are the levels:
Field of Dreams: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=592957
Smalltown USA: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?levelId=592956

EDIT: PM your designs to me by Thursday, September 16 9:00pm with your scores for each of the levels and your total score.
Good Luck!

Man, I'm logged in for the first time since May and I'm going to try the comp.

A word to the organizer: the dealine is too close especially over a weekend.

Maybe I'm not playing. I can't open the levels. A part of me wonders to what extent these loggin problems (which can't just be happening to me) have contributed to the huge drop in players. Good luck to all.

Friday, they were borked for me... but yesterday I could have fun with them. Not enough though to be in this comp I think.

i might try to solve the other two as well. We'll see how much time i have tonight.

but for now i'll just try to beat or match your least piece, its about all the time i have for fun.

EDIT: Submitted --- not sure where im at on score, but i threw a few solves together anyway. Im way rusty :-/
