I think that the best idea is to have a weight on the right side of the build area, and that as the car moves along, the weight falls down, increasing the anti-clockwise moment on the pivot, so that the car can travel up. I think my example needs more extreme weight and speed:

Some sort of squib would do the trick.
yoo can only squib when there are 2 forces present on either side of the object.
in this case, we're missing a normal force since the ground moves down wit the weight.
