(Taken from previous comps)
Rules
:dcircle: No pieces are allowed. [Exceptions will be made occasionally... :ninja: ]
:dcircle: No glitching.
:dcircle: Fastest time wins. [Exceptions will be made occasionally] There will be no tiebreaking.
:dcircle: This is an elimination comp. Last one standing wins.
:dcircle: No deleting wheels.
:dcircle: No using FCML to connect the wheels to the block (that means you reset :ninja:)
:dcircle: There is NO immunity in the entire competition.
:dcircle: No changing the types of wheels. (that means you JHawk )

Qualifier
If you solve this level by the rules, you are in the competition. There will be NO elimination this round.
Since this is the qualifier round I will be very lenient with late submissions, depending on design ID.

I honestly never thought of the little catapult design while testing, but it looks like quite a few of you guys thought of it! I never received a submission from ID36, and rlbabits submitted quite late. It's sad to see you out so early babits, but I hope you submit some guest solves in the future!

Congrats to the four that made it to the very final round! Sorry zhyrek and Brian, you just weren't fast slow enough! Good job everyone nonetheless, my test design was somewhere around 1000 ticks.

FINAL ROUND LEVEL 1
FINAL ROUND LEVEL 2
FINAL ROUND LEVEL 3

If you are reading this right now, you may be one of the four remaining players in this competition! In this final round, you will be solving THREE levels! Here are the special rules for this round:

:dcircle: All levels will be solved normally; no removing/adding wheels, fastest time wins.
:dcircle: Your score will be calculated by adding all three tick counts of your designs.
:dcircle: The lowest TOTAL tick count wins.
:dcircle: Not submitting a design for a level will give you a time of 9001 for that level.

The code for submitting will go as follows:
Code: Select all
Name
Level 1 ticks
Level 2 ticks
Level 3 ticks
Total: total ticks

Good luck everyone! You made it this far, but can you out-tweak your final competitors? Since this round is the finale, and obviously this time around it's quite different in terms of gameplay, ALL SUBMISSIONS WILL BE DUE SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD AT 20:00 EST The latest I can extend this to is Monday the 24th, and if I do extend it, this post will be updated for the very last time at 17:00 EST.

All submissions should be like so:
Code: Select all
Name design link ticks (# only)

2. Brian3.14

3. IGLima

4. djbreslin

There is no guarantee, but there MAY be a prize given out at the end of this competition. I hate promising you guys that the winner will get a prize, but I think that person deserves one. It can be anything you want, but if it's something ridiculous, then it won't happen (like money  ) But we'll see what happens at the end!
Good luck and have fun!

I think after the qualifier, each round will only be 3 or 4 days long. One week is way too long haha

Since it's only the qualifying round, I think I can have a bit of fun to start up some rivalry... IGLima is winning Not anymore. Lightquick lives up to his name ;)

Re: Tweak Master 4 - LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED (Qualifier!)

Postby Wafflekins on Fri Aug 17, 2012 3:32 pm

I might start round 1 early, because there was no specific time for submissions and because I doubt any more people will be entering. (Although, I WILL be accepting qualifier solves until round 1 is over, in case somebody was away and wanted to join.)

No wait that's really dumb lol... I just realized that I need to post the qualifier results and people entering super late don't really get an advantage but ehhh.. early round 1, but qualifier still ends in a few hours :)

[edit] Also I will be in Virginia from the 26th to the 29th. Round 2 will have to be extra long so I can post the results when I come back!
