i appreciate the comments guys...i have been coming up with alot of different variations and
most of them have alot of movement...it seems to me that this concept is just an extension
of babit's floating triangle concept whereas in that one, the floating triangles are mostly tethered
to rigid structures and create alot of movement, and this one the triangle(s) is/are attatched to
unbraced quadrilaterals and rigid structures creating alot of movement...as i come up with more
things that are polished, i will post them... anyway, i can't explain what i think is going on too well,
but i can sure as heck make sense of it in my own head, haha....
this is old, but, i have also been working on ideas where the floating triangle is attatched to structures
that float as well, but not like the quadrilateral floating...better put, they move in relation to the floating triangle like in an arc...
all the complex mech designs have some part in them that have something like this...
i say if you are bored with the same old things going on in designs, explore some of the master contraptioneer's
archives...you'd be surprised at the ideas you can come up with or things you can improve upon by watching high
quality designs
