Wow, I leave for a few years, and look what happens to my topic.

So you know, I am not updating the OP, that would take way to long.

Anyways, I don't know if this pult counts or not, but:

Lukasran's "Hungry For Red" had a double parallel extender. I'll see if I can make a less complicated version...
Too lazy. Made this instead...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...
It doesn't work
Well, my 2 weight double parallel extender theory should be correct (just a short one attached to the end of a long one, but could be very helpful on large levels with small building areas where you need a bridge or retriever.

No drop weight extender.

I am sure someone has already came up with this. You can keep adding segments indefinitely, but I don't know how well it would work after 2.

Wait, his 10 segment one was this?

I always wondered how he built that.

Wow.

Edit:

You put the chains in different spots. Makes it a bit straighter. I got to remember this.

Hey guys
Long time since there was a large update on this
So I was working with carpenter designs and I came up with these:
Carpenter Bridge Theory #1: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11860630 (success)
Carpenter Bridge Theory #2: http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=11860632 (fail)
Will keep you updated.

Hey guys, how do you make those crazy arms that do business? I mean, each one is different and made for the cause, but I mean the ones like Scarmiglione that have all that much power. Somebody PLEASE make a tutorial.

Scienceguy, protoarms (especially ones like the Scarmiglione) take a certain vision to make, and you need a lot of practice with the game too. Schmittd is dead on actually.

Those may genuinely be some of the most dramatic unified brown mechanisms I've ever seen. You can almost hear the trailer music.

We should, in theory, be able to get 8 with the addition of only one more lever
