iPhone App Launched!

Sorry for not properly quoting the previous posts but I'm doing this on my itouch in honor of the release

But in answer to a couple questions:

- unfortunately we can't carry the saved designs over between the two versions. The physics are slightly different (there are a number of technical reasons for this). We looked at making them interchangable but there was just no way it was going to happen. Then we thought about just carrying over the user levels but some of them use pretty intricate physics interactions to work, so no go on that too.

- yes! I will work on making the extra official iphone levels available for paid users of the original game. (or mabey for everyone)

- and of course it is true: haphazard's levels are officially awesome

That is so cool. I have an ipod touch, and I will download that hopefully. I also can't wait for Fantastic Contest to come out. I have seen the image at the bottom of the screen for some long.

Ha ha... it's been "coming soon" for about a month now.........................

Although I do know personally how long it takes to develop new kinds of software and programs....

I have to say I'm a little dissapointed with making the sticks. Its is very hard to make a bunch of sticks for a weight pult I find the designing much harder as I dont think ive done any levels brown Why could you just click and drag the sticks like on the Flash version? O well. Great job on the game!

We tried click and drag and trust me it's a disaster on the iPhone. Since your finger is so unprecise the first point of your stick is never where you want. You always end up connecting it to the wrong joint or it's outside of the borders. So while stick-a-pults are harder to make I think that's a pretty small price to pay for such an intuitive interface.

Unfortunately inevitable small physics differences made this impossible. Since the iPhone processor is different than PC and Mac processors the physics wouldn't match up. We would have if we could have!
